Available on requestSILOS FOR THE CONTAINMENT AND DOSING OF CEMENT POWDER
The HORIZONTAL SILO "BTH" is designed for the storage and dosing of cement or powders, which can be transferred directly to a concrete mixer or batching plant.
Compared to vertical silos, the horizontal silo has a lower environmental impact and does not require a concrete base, being able to rest directly on the ground without the need for permanent structures. This flexibility allows for installation virtually anywhere, without the need for complex permits.
Equipped with telescopic lifters, the silo is easily transportable without the need for external lifting equipment for loading and unloading from the transport vehicle. Thanks to its compact size, it can be shipped by sea in containers or transported by truck.
The discharge screw, fixed to the side of the silo with special supports, and the dust collection filter, mounted with dedicated brackets, contribute to the practicality of the system.
Weighing is fully electronic, with load cells ensuring accurate measurement. The cement dosing is done by subtraction, based on the total amount stored, allowing precise material management and constant monitoring of purchased and residual cement.
Cement extraction is done via a horizontal auger that conveys the material to a height of 4.2 meters, thanks to an inclined conveyor auger.
The silo is equipped with a loading pipe with a connection flange, allowing cement to be loaded from an external concrete pump at a pressure of 1.5 bar.
When combined with the "BT" AGGREGATE HOPPER, the system can be fully controlled from a single workstation via PC, as explained in the Betonwin2 control system section.
Each plant is painted with a high-quality sandblasting and spray painting cycle carried out by specialized companies, ensuring long durability and resistance over time.
The storage capacities of the HORIZONTAL SILO "BTH" range from 16 to 60 m³, making it suitable for different operational needs.
